DWA! has been doing a little Dirt Rally 2 online championship. I decided to download it last night but oof, that’s not a game you can play without a wheel. So just for fun, I popped into craiglist, Nextdoor, and FB marketplace to see what was available. Some mom was in charge of selling her kids like-new G920 wheel complete with optional shifter.

She said her kid doesn’t use it anymore and only played it a few times.

Brand new, it’s $430. She sold it to me for $150. Of course, I got home and found out why he suddenly stopped playing with it . I suspect her little turdnugget lost the power cord and didn’t want to tell his helicopter mom about it.

I was able to get a laptop power cord to work. It calibrates and seems fine but will have to wait until sunday for my replacement cord to come in. The laptop cord has a 90 degree connector that doesn’t really fit the design of the wheel. I don’t want to bend the prong inside the power connector by clamping the wheel down onto the bent connector.

Still a score though. $430 wheel for $160.

I've got the PlayStation version, it's been a good peripheral.

Good deal. Most of these people charge almost full price or actual full price like they’re selling a lotus Elise and know what they have. I periodically check and then lose interest
